[RC] "dirty" habits - diane vieiraMy poor husband. He sees me in old riding tights, really old falling apart scuff-on shoes and a ripped up t shirt outside cleaning the corral every morning and calls me his "hillbilly wife". I tell him not to insult those nice folk. I'm happy to be dirty, hairy, streaked with beet pulp and horse slobber, emptying hay from my shoes when I take them off! Means I'm healthy enough to do it all myself, that I make enough time to groom, feed and love my animals! And my neighbors get a kick out of driving by and seeing me with 2 horses, 3 dogs and 4 cats all playing together and running around me, starting every one of my days with a big smile.Saw a great sign in someone's yard and I want to get one: "Martha Stewart doesn't live here....it's a good thing!"
