[RC] Record of rider before '85 - Sisu West RanchI am in the process of putting together a tribute to one of our Bitterroot Backcountry Horsemen members for his 90th Birthday. AERC online records show his two Tevis completions, and one 50 in AK. I suspect that he did other AERC rides that don't show on the computer.If anyone has old yearbooks and some time I would appreciate any information on his pre '88 competition record. I also have pictures of him on a couple of NATRC rides. I have sent an email to NATRC about their records, but if anyone has old NATRC records those could also be searched. His name is Walter Holst and he now lives in Hamilton, MT but he previously lived in Fairbanks, AK. By the way, at 90 he still rides most every day, and helps clearing trail. He doesn't look a day over 75.
