If you¹re already on them, you keep taking them for a few days, thru the sporting event, to avoid withdrawal bleeding. If you¹re not on them, and there are no contraindications, you can start by taking them for a month before the cycle that has the time you don¹t want to bleed. So if you want to avoid bleeding for Tevis, which is Aug 5, you¹d take them for June & July. (Tevis is 4 days before the Full Moon. FM is when most women not on exogenous hormones ovulate, especially if they spend a lot of times outdoors. YMMV and other restrictions apply so please talk to your drs (or PM me) before trying this at home.
