[RC] Horse Expo - susan parmentierForwarded Message: HORSE EXPO OF NORTHERN MICHIGAN MAY 5, 6, & 7TH Northern
Lights Arena 751 Woodward Ave. Alpena, Michigan Welcome to the 1st Horse Expo of Northern Michigan. We are proud to bring this quality program to the horse loving residents of Northern Michigan. Come and be a part of a fun and informative equine weekend! Meet our presenters: KEN MCNABB - Practical Horsemanship. He has taught thousands of students from coast to coast making training easy to understand. Ken became one of the first certified John Lyons trainers in 1993. In 1996, he began teaching his methods to others. His students agree he is a master communicator who makes the training easy to understand and workable for both young and old. His commitment is to transfer his expertise to his students so that they can become the rider/trainer themselves. He believes with the right training, mediocre horses can become good, and good horses can become great. BILL CAMPBELL - Common Sense Horsemanship. Bill has developed the "common sense" approach to horsemanship. It is easy as 1, 2, 3! The principals include: one thing you must know, two things you must
teach, and three things you must demonstrate. 1. Know what you are asking of your horse. 2. Teach the horse to relax and give to pressure. 3. Demonstrate Leadership, Patience and Understanding. It takes time and commitment to develope these skills. No shortcuts!! You get out of the relationship what you put in it! ALICIA BYBERG - Head Trainer at Bay Harbor Equestrian Club. Alicia brings her many skills to the program. In 2004, she earned a United States Dressage Federation Silver Medal. She is a certified American Riding Instructor. She specializes in colt starting and Natural Horsemanship techniques. She actively competes and coaches dressage. She has been a riding instructor for over ten years. Watching the communication grow between horse and rider is what she loves most about what
she does. Advance Ticket Application Deadline: April 17th - Limited Seating Advance tickets: Three Day Pass $35 Fri, Sat, Sun Daily Pass $15 Send Payment, name, address, phone and email if applicable to
