Actually, Trilby and Lad did win some rides......Shore to Shore one year I 
think.  It was the year that the WEC was in Front Royal.....mb 


Yes, they could turn it on when she wanted to.  I was just referring to
the fact that she chose to be competitive by riding more miles instead
of by racing all the time.  The year she was Nat'l Champion she had a
couple of 2nds on XP rides and took BC.  But most of her year (and her
career) was far more conservative.  I think it just ticked off some of
the racers to bet beat fair and square by someone who rode
conservatively and rode a lot.
