I rode against the horse in 1991 Mountain Region Championship....he was QUITE an impressive animal even BEFORE MMS purchased him from Steve Hansen.
 
In fact, he was always tougher than anyone who rode him. 
The effort of being that kind of horse eventually took its toll on him.
