Re: [RC] paul valliere/horse killer? - Diane Trefethenindiancp wrote:/no second chance if i could help it. he needs to work with machines. If you want more information (possibly more than you'd really care for) on this issue and the people and horses it most directly affects (the hunter/jumper world), go to The Chronical of The Horse (coth) website here: http://chronicleforums.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/7076024331/m/333202818/p/1 This subject apparently came up on several threads, notably Genesis Farm, and drew so much reaction that a new thread was started just to address this issue. The new thread, started on 08-Dec-05, is already up to 38 pages with 20 posts/page. There seem to be two basic camps. One says that yes he committed a crime but he has served his sentence and should be allowed back into the horseshow community and the second camp believes that because the crime he committed was so heinous and there is no way to assure that he won't behave similarly again, or worse, that he should NEVER be allowed to participate in AHSA events again. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
