Re: [RC] trailer awnings...funny story - Stacy SadarI had to laugh at your comment "I sleep better if I know the horses can get out of
the weather if they want to." Let me tell you a funny....My husband camped out with me one evening and it started raining something terrible. Now, my horse has his waterproof rain blanket on and he's standing there in the rain. My husband is driving me crazy to bring him in the trailer so he won't get sick standing in the rain. I'm telling him that I'm not getting dressed to go in the rain to TRY to get him in the trailer...I'm telling ya that he won't go in. This goes on for at least 20-30 minutes of him worrying about the horse and making sure he's telling me about it. Mind you...I'm trying to sleep! So after much grumbling, I get my clothes on, boots, etc. go out in the pouring rain to take the horse to the trailer. Now, I know he's not going in because it's not "time" to go home. So I walk the horse around the back of the trailer, turn the light on, stomp on the ramp a few times, do it again, then put him back in the corral. I go back in and told
my husband, "see, I told you he wouldn't go in when all his buddies are standing out here." LOL ps...don't tell him I did that...he still has no idea!
