[RC] Ankle pain/shock absorbing stirrups help? - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I would like to know if the shock absorbing stirrups help? I too
suffer ankle problems. My right is partially fused, and the left
is just a basic mess. I have to try to keep them even when I ride
as the left one can still flex down, but the right one is doing
great staying level. It takes a while to resemble a walk once I
do get on the ground. I used to have the ankles actually
get sprained from riding, talk about NOT fun. :oP Once the outer
side of my lower leg got stronger, it stopped happening. I switched
to the really wide stirrups, and will never go back to "normal" ones
again. If the shock absorbing stirrups would help further, I would
look into a pair. They are way too expensive to buy and find out
they don't do enough. Any input from riders out there on these?

good for much)
