I agree, with Bruce Weary, that the responsibility
belongs to the rider, and no one else, and the best we can do is try to educate
people- the welfare committee and the very busy education committee has been
doing just that, and I believe it is working.
I understand, Jim, that you had a hard time getting
any answers a few years ago when the subject of horse deaths first came up, I
believe, (not being party to your inquiries) that there where no good records,
and no one knew WHAT to say to you- I do not believe that anyone deliberately
hid things. Please don't take that statement as an invitation to a debate-
I won't do it.
At any rate, that is in the past--LET'S MOVE
FORWARD.
