In over 30 years of doing both C and E, I have seen
at least 4 horse deaths from competitive. What hurts the horse most
is being overridden whether endurance or comp. Yes, that can happen in
competitive. But also a horse can get into trouble on a ride whether
C or E and the problem has nothing at all to do with the ride itself.
There was just something going on with the horse and unfortunately, the horse
can't tell us in English. Jeanie
