Re: [RC] Midnight Dixie pad - Laney HumphreyWater is cheap and how hard is it to wash a Skito/Toklat pad cover?! I hose mine off after every few training rides and before and after every competition. I have a Skito pad that's probably 10 years old. The foam is a bit stiff but the cover is still fine.I live and ride in the relatively dry west but I've never had a problem with sweat. Horses are meant to sweat. What you want under the saddle is for the sweat to be able to run off or get transferred away. I'm sure the Dixie Midnight helps. Fleece is great and so is Supracor. Lastly, do you think it allows the back to breathe properly?
