If you would like a BLM horse but would prefer one who has already been through the gentling period, I have a dear friend who has two coming 3yos that she must find homes for because of unexpected unemployment. These are not rescues, she has had them for 2 years and they are beautifully behaved and lovely young horses. I'm dying to take the filly myself but I already have more mouths than budget. She has an I'm-a-movin' trot to die for! The gelding is more a daisy cutter, I-can-go-all-day-at-this-speed kinda fella with amazing bone :-)
They are located near Sacramento. If anyone is interested, contact me. I have photos and can put you in touch with the owner. Obviously a great home is a must, which is why she asked me to help put her in touch with endurance riders. :-)
