[RC] BLM selection for AERC raffle - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Philip Ottinger, DDS dr.o@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== January 2005 - - Kirk Adkins & I looked through 250 yearlings at Litchfield BLM corrals. Ended up with 5 yearlings that had no confirmation faults, good attitudes & the kind of movement that an endurance horse needs. For the raffle, neck tag #7215 a bay filly & neck tag #7398 a buckskin gelding were the finalists. (One of these will be available after the raffle for conventional adoption) This leaves neck tag #7305 roan stud, (he was quickly adopted for a teenage daughter by someone watching us - a first time adopter - ) So, am aware that neck tag #7549 appaloosa buckskin gelding & neck tag #7308 a palomino gelding are still at Litchfield. They will be gone by the middle of next week, February 23, 2005; to an adoption held in Paso Robles, Ca. If you want what we think is an excellent candidate for endurance, check with Videll at 1 800 545-4256 for adoption activity. These horses would be better off in the hands of a person who does endurance than anywhere else. Good Luck!!! They are NICE horses.
