Re: [RC] Flax seed/coffee grinders? - Jennifer Fleet - Ericka Nelson
I have an old grinding mill. It looks like
a larger version of the hand crank meat grinder. Back in the 70's I ground
my own wheat berries for bread. I hung on to the grinder, and I'm thinking
that it would grind just about anything. So, if you have your heart set on
grinding flax, instead of soaking, you could buy one of these mills. It is
hand powered and clamps onto anything. I think I saw one in WILD OATS
(a health food grocery store chain).

this winter d/t so much snow but really can't wait to get back in the
saddle!)
If
you don't mind hand grinding, you may find a few old hand-crank coffee
grinders on EBAY. Might come in handy if at a ride or camping and you
are away from an outlet. Do a search using the words 'hand coffee
grinder'. Prices will
vary.
