RE: [RC] [RC-Digest] Vol: 03.2370 why is diesel so expensive - Adam and Jannelle

Which resturants did you go to? Are they receptive? do you pay them for
the oil? did you install it yourself? I am interested, but will have to
convience my wife it is a good investment for the farm.

Well, you ARE right-it does need to be filtered-a couple of times if
possible. Here's the place I got mine done:

They're the best!

THIS is why I can start contemplating going to more Endurance rides. Check
out the link to the Dyno results!

It has been everything they claimed (I'm SO impressed about that part!).
It really DOES work...I was a skeptic at first, but now I'm convinced. I
have a 140 gallon Nomad system in my truck...

I admit to being a little nervous trying something new like this when

Heck, with the cost of a new diesel engine I would be worried about doing
it anytime. I wonder if it needs to be filtered first ? Sorry, I just
have images of old french fries and pieces of chicken nuggets in my engine
:)

Seriously though, it sounds interesting. My husband says that the reason
the military (he is a retired Marine) use diesels is that they can run them
on just about anything if they have to. When they had to use jet fuel in
the jeeps they added transmission fluid (because jet fuel is so "dry") and
the diesels ran just fine. He's the one that said the oil would probably
need to be filtered.

slave, had the horse not made him king."
