Re: [RC] equithane and sole health - Truman PrevattI don't like pads becasue the sole can take a beating with pads - especially if the conditions are wet. That's one of the reasons I went to equithane instead of pads. The sole is quite healty when it is removed. My farrier feels that even with it in there is still sole pressue and circulation that you don't get in pads. I've never taken any out to find any problems with the sole. You sure can't say that about pads.
