Hey guys- thanks for thinking of me and providing me a good laugh for the 
day.  I couldn't even talk the boss into letting me off until the friday 
before the Arabian Nights ride, and no 
way could I talk him into the National Championships, so I wouldn't even 
think of this one.
  Seriously I have a job to do keeping all our troops here
healthy, and everything I do with endurance 
is just my fun.  Rokket is out to pasture, fat, hairy, shoeless, and somewhat 
out of shape.  I'm not sure he would fit
in with those thin, fit looking Australian horses.
   They do let me use the computer to look at ridecamp,
 so I am getting my endurance fix.
  Should get home in time to get him in shape for some rides
this summer and hopefully do well enough to get invited next year.  Shouldn't 
be too hard since from what I understand from spending some time reading the 
archives,you all will be going
shoeless, bitless, not using electrolytes, and not feeding 
 any of the dread alfalfa (I need to insert the smiley face 
here but the government computer doesn't have one) I wish every-
one the best of luck at the ride and hope the horses all come
through ok.  Karen
