[RC] Thoroughbred - Nancy SturmOh come on you guys. Admittedly, it was before I'd ever owned an Arab, but the TB used to be my breed of choice. I've owned some very nice horses, including one which came off the track and did combined training events and cutting - how's that for a combo? I especially liked the off the track horses because they usually had the most wonderful ground manners. They had been everywhere and had everything done to them. And, yes, there were some crazies. I've seen nuts is just about every breed, including Welsh ponies, but we don't equate an entire breed with the difficult animals. Me, I had a TB once. Craziest damn horse I was ever around, and 16.2 to boot. Trust me, no one wants to be on a horse that tall with no wits about him. It's a long way down from up there. I was waiting to see who was going to get killed-he wound up flipping out in his stall and almost killing himself. Do I think they are all like that? No, but my experience was so awful you won't find me owning one.
