[RC] Plastic shoes - Sue WalzHi Kristene,I used the Hoof-it plastic shoes on Raven for Tevis. They lasted the entire tough 100 & could have gone farther. He slipped a bit more than he would've barefoot including a very dramatic fall on the boulders of the Granite Chief Wilderness! Consequently, I opted to go around Cougar Rock. Otherwise, I was pleased with the performance of the plastic shoes. I'm debating what to use for Tevis this year. I'll experiment with the new Epic EZ boots. If I find they'll work for 100 miles they would be my choice. I might give them a try at Mt Adams 100 to help the decision.
