[RC] QH -- Charge Cindy - Roberta Jo Lieberman

Yes, Larry Kanavy rode Charge Cindy to win the OD around 1978. I was crewing for Winkie and Matthew Mackay-Smith. Winkie and Val 'raced' (actually cantering in giggling) in for third on two grays -- Silver and Jet. I have photos. John Crandell Sr. may have finished second on a big chestnut gaited horse (forgot the name). This was when the OD was based at Morven Park in Leesburg, VA. I may have the dates off by a year or so. Cindy was a neatly made appendix QH. I believe she went on to be a broodmare for Susan Gibson after she retired from endurance. --Bobbie
