[RC] Pal back on the trail - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Pat Swenson swens@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== When Bev's horse Pal recovers and is able to get back on the trail I will congratulate her for her ability to get him back in shape enjoying life! I have a mare who had a neurological episode, swelling in her brain and hindquarters, in March of 2003. It is horrible to experience and we never figured out the cause. She did her first novice CRT in August 2003 and 2 CTR's that fall. This past season we had a successful season doing CTR's. She loves these rides. She probably won't be moving up to 50's because of arthritis, but not because she deserves to sit in the pasture because she had the neurological probem. We took her health one day at a time and then one ride at a time, and as I said, she loves these rides...lessons are another story! My point is when Pal comes back I hope to see him out on the trail..nobody said 100 mile endurance ride...just out on the trail! And if he comes back like my mare did he probably would be able to do a 100 mile ride again. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
