Re: [RC] So, who went riding today???? - heidiFinally got to go riding today as well--ironic, as the weather was better the past few weeks, but I've had to be on the road and busy with various other projects. Today it was about 25 degrees and threatening snow, but the boys sure enjoyed getting out. We did our 8-mile loop, and weren't very fast since we had to watch our footing in some icy areas, but it sure felt good. Hubby was on Najiri, the horse that we just got started last fall and put three rides on--he has remembered his lessons well and is ready to move on with his conditioning program. I was pleased to see that my buddy Zeffer (who will be starting his third season) just went out like a seasoned campaigner and was pulling up the hills in the ankle-deep snow at a working trot without hardly turning a hair or drawing a long breath.
