But it seems that both of you are talking about "dead" mass and not
considering that a live rider has more complicated physics. An unbalanced
100lb rider is more work for a horse than a balanced 200lb one. You also
have to consider the structure and conditioning of the horse. That's why
heavyweights are just as able to bring home all A's in a ride.
