Hi,

I believe in the right to carry a gun. I have spent over 25 years working in 
law enforcement. One thing that was always on our mind is that every call we 
went on no matter how minor it was a man with gun call. Even if the subject 
didn't have a gun when I arrived there was one in the room. If the subject gets 
with in 6 ft. of you and hasn't given you reason to shoot, he is then close 
enough to have get your. Then you have to fight to retain it. A lot of law 
enforcement training is on gun retention. It would be great to have a gun to 
protect a loved one when you needed it. It would be worse to lose a loved one 
to a gun and know you were the one who provide the gun.
