Re: [RC] Saddle Fitter recommendation-Sacramento - Laney HumphreyThey have a very nice website but I couldn't find any mention of reflocking and refitting saddles on it. They'd probably get so much work that that don't advertise that they do it.Laney Karen Casemier wrote: I actually live in Michigan, but recently sent my Albion dressage saddle to Cary Wallace of Custom Saddlery in California. We do have a local person here, but I really dislike her work. He came recommended to my by my dressage instructor. Cary actually widened my tree and reflocked the saddle (and changed my three-billet system to a Y girthing system), and it is the nicest reflocking work I've seen - many times I think the saddle fitters overstuff when they reflock. This was completely even, well balanced, and SOFT. Cary worked from tracings I sent with the saddle, so if he is too far to drive, you could still use him. I would much prefer to work this way, with a really great saddler. I think Custom Saddlery is about as good as it gets. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
