Re: [RC] Guns VS Naked Ladies - Truman Prevatt

Truth be told i have run across more naked ladies in the woods than the need to use a gun there. One time i ran across these 2 ladies, naked, and tried to act like everything was normal, when from my side it wasn't, but i did a good job acting like the gentleman. I have ran across a few wounded and damaged deer, dogs and antelope that a gun would have been better that banging them over their heads to relieve them of their distress. Thankfully i never had to put a horse down, but the apex between the eyes is the point and most renderers use 22 shorts and everything else is overkill, plus a 22 is the weapon of choice of the mafioso. Lets never forget the famed Cavalryman, George Custer who supposedly shot his horse as he was aiming at a buffalo...and missed the buffalo and shot his horse and probably tumbled his hat off.

I've been in the woods plenty. The most alarming thing I've ever seen was when we truned the corner on a trail and two cyclist - a male and a female had decided to take a, er....... hummm... break on the side of the trail. I was warm so they had taken off thier clothes. I rode on by - I doubt if they knew I had passed. I've, however, seen plenty of horse eating turkey, a few snakes that were busting their hump to get out of my way - but it's their home not mine so I tread lightly.

I hadn't heard the Custer story before, but when it comes to shooting off a horse I think too many people watched too many old western movies. While there are a lot of police who use horses - they sure don't get into a gun fight on horse back. It's difficult to hit a target at 50 meters or even 25 meters with a hand gun, much less when you are moving.

PS: As we head into a new year we could only hope for peace. But looking around in the world - it seems as far off today as it ever has.
