Being fortunate to have the one out-fitted w/
English Leathers and a fleece seat by Matthew Mackay-Smith, it has been found
adaptable over a wide usage and the fleece makes the seat not as hard for my
skinny butt.
It was probably the most optimal saddle ever
developed for distance riding and if you devise some modern day 'comforts' it
can prove to be adequate. I also enjoy the lore of the History behind it.
