I rode them as a teen, as the fellow I worked
horses for, used then exclusively. Dang, I never did find them comfortable for
me! LOL
It seems most are built for horses like the old
Army horses. More narrow, Thoroughbred type backs. Hard to fit in my opinion,
and not a lot of surface area to displace the weight on the horse.
