just got back from family vacation in new york. with the transit strike they 
upped the amount of mounted police on the streets. i was amased at these steed. 
i have never seen a horse endure such noise, movement, distraction as if 
nothing was going on. you would have thought they were on a trail ride. amazing 
animals. they were enduring alot of stress just by being in that in environment 
on broadway. mike
