Re: [RC] Riding after eating question - Don HustonHi Diane,I ride whenever I feel like it and have never noticed any difference. Ride 1 hour or 4 hours. Before feeding, after or pull'em out in the middle of eating. I have a huge bucket of horse cookies and the horse gets 2 with putting in the bit and 2 taking it out. That procedure has trained all 3 horses to open their mouths and drop their heads for the headstall to go on or off even without treats (a dirty trick). Except on race day my horses get free-fed grass and a pound of equine senior at night.
