Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] LQ Wish List - DESERTRYDR1What people do and what's legal are two different things on occasion. I have a barrel for waste water, which doesn't get much in it, because I don't do dishes on the road, mostly like brushing teeth and stuff. I dump it when I get home. I work for a local health dept. in Environmental Health and I have to enforce sewage laws. We only respond after a complaint, but it puts me in the position of knowing what's okay and what's not as far as sewage disposal, and that some states consider grey water to be the same as sewage, because it can have body fluids and harmful bacteria mixed in. Not telling anyone what to do, only that if you don't have a holding tank, and you get caught draining your sink or shower water on the ground, you may get a ticket or worse. Know your local laws, and also the laws of any state you may visit. jeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
