Re: [RC] Anyone tried Brit Rider boots by Muck boot Co.? - Barbara McCraryI've ridden the Death Valley ride in the snow while wearing polypropylene socks, and found them quite comfortable. I got mine from Damart, but I don't know whether the company is still in business. They stopped sending me catalogs, but perhaps because I didn't order enough stuff from them. I still have my long-sleeved turtlenecks and my glove liners and my socks from about 22 years ago.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary Sutliff" <mtnriderII@xxxxxxxxx> To: "Claire Nystrom" <claire.nystrom@xxxxxxxxx> Cc: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2005 4:07 PM Subject: Re: [RC] Anyone tried Brit Rider boots by Muck boot Co.? My feet get cold easily and I've found that "Toe Warmers" work really well. For winter buy boots a half size larger than usual, wear heavy wool socks and use the Toe Warmers.
