What is the written description?  It should say what legs have white, 
markings...and the drawn markings should match the horse.



Paint horse registration (APHA) does not have drawn marking descriptions.  It 
would just be too difficult given some of the coat configurations.  That is why 
they need a photo.  The written description is limited to things like "bay 
overo" or "black and white tobiano" or "left eye blue."  Hoof color would be 
the best way to test something like this.  They also suggest shaving or wetting 
an area where there is a question as the the line of demarcation between two 
colors.
