re shocks:Suggest rigging a copper spike ground strap from the hardware 
store,and when installing,be very particular about eliminating as much of the 
resistance as possible-maybe even do some soldering..the horse has steel shoes 
and is super-sensitive at the muzzle hairs anyway. My horse "ignores" the 
current,but visiting horses sometimes will not. MY tank is driving me crazy 
now,can't keep the damn thing working,and I am thinking about tearing it out of 
the ground and throwing it down into the gulley.Ritchie makes really good ones 
for big $$$,now available in dull green instead of hideous yellow/red,which 
counts for a lot with me.
