[RC] Traveling to CA - JASMIN MARANGOZ

Howdy Y'all,
 
since everybody in the endurance community has experience traveling to different states I thought you all might be able to help.
 
Next month I will be taking my colt to a clinic in CA. I will be leaving LV, NV and have to pass through one of those agricultural checkpoints. Here are my questions.
 
I know that I will need a health certificate and coggins test for my horse, but what about a brand inspection???
 
What about hay, the ranch that is hosting the clinic is requiering everyybody to bring their own hay, which actually works well for me since my guy is used to free feed on cubes; but can I get it through that checkpoint???
 
Also has anybody attended at clinic by Mark Rashid???
