Re: [RC] Where do folks ride - Truman PrevattI can ride out my place and get 6 to 10 miles - about half on crushed limestone roads. It's a good diversion and I do it quite a bit when I'm trying to get some hardpack training on a horse. It's very hard to get horse ready for hard ground in FL soft sand.A 10 minute trailer ride we have miles and miles and miles of state forest trails. A 20 minute drive we have about 10 miles of very tight single track "twisty "(and I mean twisty) woods trails - great to get them carrying themselves balanced (or else they run into a tree). About 30 minutes in another state forest, miles and miles and miles of trails. If I want to venture up to Ocala - 40 minutes I am at the Cross FL Greenway. A unique experience and yet another opportunity to teach the horses. I feel very lucky. We have great trails around and we can ride 365 days a year (excluding the hurricane days which I hope we don't see many of next year).
