Y'know, the "barefoot wars" we've been having on Ridecamp for the past few days
remind me of the "operating system wars" you see on the Internet from time to
time.

Like religious wars, the "True Believers" consider those who do not "Believe" to
be heretics.

And like religious wars, the "True Believers" consider themselves to be
"enlightened" and the heretics closed-minded and hellbound.

It has been amusing, though, in a way.  But enough is enough!  No one's mind is
going to be changed by more fire-and-brimstone!

(As for me, I keep'em barefoot when that's good for'em, and shod when that's
good for'em.  Just like I do for myself.)
