I am
on this band wagon too. If I cannot ride my horse in CTR or Endurance barefoot
then I will no longer ride competitive. I would like an answer to a question
from the farriers vets out there that think shoeing in necessary. Why does an
1/8 of an inch shoe make a horse not sore over 2 inch rock.

subject, you said it best. And it's my feeling exactly. I made the
decision
that my horse will be
barefoot - PERIOD. If that means passing up a ride, so what? The
world
will not end, and my horse
will still have healthy, beautiful, rock-hard hooves. For those of
you
that put the ride first, go
right ahead. Lori and I made the decision that is right for us.
