Re: [RC] UAE & other rides - Kristen A FisherI believe the point being, that if it is a WORLD Championship, how would competitors fare in other types of terrain found around the world, not just "sand with no rocky hills." Certainly these specific competitors have the means to train anywhere they choose.----- Original Message ----- From: "Ridecamp Guest" <guest-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, January 31, 2005 9:16 PM Subject: Re: [RC] UAE & other rides
The UAE riders live in the SAND w/no rocky hills!!!!... The UAE riders don't care about the Outlaw Trail or any hilly rocky ride. They have built a 40 million dollar endurance facility IN THE SAND. Exactly where would they train to be able to compete in these other rides? Ali & Majed rode our horses at Tevis. Ali fell off in Granite Cheif area, they are not used to horses jumping creeks, and did break his hand. Was 15 min ahead of everyone coming out of Francisco's, but oops took a major wrong turn. Do you people still have to keep rubbing salt in that wound??
