Thoughtful analysis--
  But what is international is what many people see--
  I wonder how this will  effect  those considering the sport--- if this is 
what they see---
How will this effect--possibly dubiously --encouraging new adherents to the 
"homebred' form of Endurance?
I now understand why people were hotly debating  about sponsorships.....
As the 'horseloving' type foremost, rather than --(nah, don't think I''ll go 
there)--
though fascinating---yet,  repelled by the "Edge" they rode too----  I can 
see why this won't /shouldn't be an Olympic  sport--- The DNF rate is too 
high and too visual----

Can you imagine the Kentucky Derby with 2/3 of the Horses limping off the 
field ?
Won't play well in  Kansas.......
