Re: [RC] WEC Criteria (Pulse, etc.) - heidiCripes! No wonder Nashmi got BC. If 'fit to continue' really matters to us and to FEI, the interval allowed to meet pulse at the finish should be the same as at all the other vet checks. Cindy ==================================================================== (1) Hachim 26:18 (28,63 km/hr) (2) Georgat 17:03 (31,28 km/hr) (3) Nashmi 03:58 (24,37 km/hr) (4) Mindari Aenzac 05:18 (22,29 km/hr) (5) Jasmineh 12:04 (24,39 km/hr) (6) Jassas 11:53 (18,47 km/hr) (7) Haoussa Larzac 12:33 (20,55 km/hr) (8) Flamandor de Vaure 23:03 (23,36 km/hr) (9) Al Wadha 10:58 (15,62 km/hr) (10) Bedouin de Piboul 11:43 (19,89 km/hr) Yeah, Cindy, that was my reaction as well! I'd worry a bit about the two that were over 20 minutes, but OTOH, this IS the sort of race where one does ride on the razor's edge. As for time allowed for pulsing down, all of these came down in under half an hour, which is the AERC allowed time at vet checks. (Not sure what the FEI allowed time is.) In any event, one will see this sort of time for post-ride recovery in USA rides as well, when there is a tough head-to-head race at the end.
