[RC] WEC: Confusion in the FEI - John TeeterThe below is from: http://www.gulfnews.com/Articles/SportNF.asp?ArticleID=149911 From my understanding, the event Foreign Technical Delegate is responsible for all aspects of the competition, including the determination of eliminations, disqualifications, and completions. For the 2004 WEC, that person is Mr. John Robertson of Great Britain. Mr. Ian Williams, quoted below, is a member of the Ground Jury for the event with responsibilities related to operational aspects of the competition during the time the course is open (6:00am) till closing (10:20pm) on the 27th. The foreign Veterinary Delegate for the WEC was Dr. Dan Frazier, DVM of the US. The "process" referred to below were announced to all Chef d' Equipe's of competitor countries prior to the event.
