RE: [RC] Frozen - heidiI just looked out, and they are standing next to the barn, instead of under the shelter, with frozen rain / sleet and snow building up on them. Just like you can lead a horse to water, but can't make them drink....you can give them shelter, but can't make them stand under it (without closing them in, or tying them under it) If it is building up on them, then they are ok. That means that their insulation layer is functioning, and their body heat is not escaping to melt the snow. If it melts and they are wet, that is a whole nuther story. But if it is building up, then their insulation layer is not compromised.
