[RC] bump on spine - Vicki Weiper

Anyone out there ever have trouble with a bump appearing on your horse's spine after a ride? I have an Arab gelding, in his 3rd season, that encounters this. I'm riding in a custom made endurance saddle (even the tree was made to his mold) so I'm sure it fits well. The bump appears to be fluid buildup, as it disappears after a few minutes without the saddle. It appears no matter what saddle or blanket I use and his back isn't sore. The vet won't diagnose without seeing it and I've had a chiro adjust his back recently who also didn't know what's causing it.
