Some rather whimsical friends on another list were looking at helmet  
covers and one of them found this site:

These are for ski helmets but look like they'd fit riding helmets.  I  
have to admit that I think that they are a hoot, but since helmets  
themselves are considered weird enough in Egypt, adding a jester's  
hat or a devil's tail would probably do the locals in.
