RE: [RC] Regional LD BC Awards - heidi

This most recent round of discussions on LD started when someone said the 
Regional LD BC Award was not available to some regions since AERC BC was not 
awarded at LD rides in those regions. 
  
Well, it is offered somewhere in those regions - all 9 regions are 
represented by leaders in the Regional LD BC Awards:

In my comparison of the NW and W regions, both regions had 38 LD rides. 
In the NW, 29 AERC LD BCs were awarded.  In the W region, a whopping 4
were awarded.  I can understand the frustration of those riders who
would like to have some "choices" in the W region.
