Re: [RC] Stomach Edema - rdcarrie One thing that comes to mind is a hernia (don't panic, it's not necessarily a huge crisis). What does it feel like? Does it seem painful when you palpate (feel) it? If not, feel/probe gently and see if it's solid, soft, etc., and whether you can feel "edges" inside under the skin. Or is it just some kinda diffuse puffiness? I'd get your vet to take a peek at it. If it is a hernia, there are different degrees/severities. Some need surgery, some just need watching.
