So sorry. I've been told that the loss of a good horse or mule is like losing a 
member of the family. It's not true! I love my family, but I can't think of any 
of them I would want to spend 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year 
with. I have had a mule that I would.

Some will tell you to move on. Get your mind on other things. Don't listen to 
them. Remember now while all the images are strong. I cried when the images 
were fresh. I cried harder one year later when I could no longer just close my 
eyes and produce the image of Clovis's face and kind eye. Then again when ever 
I hear of someone else's loss.
