End of an era. Although Tom could
make me want to pound my head against the wall in frustration, he was always
big fun when we were both in the mood for a high volume, no-holds-barred
debate. I’m grateful for the private conversations we had a few
weeks back. I’ll miss him.

On Sunday Tom Ivers passed away at home with his loving wife sitting by his
side. He has been sick for a long time and had made the choice to stop his
treatments and die at home. I know that we will miss him very very much. Please
say a prayer for his wife to help her have the strength to get through the loss
of her life partner.
